Chris Pyle lives in Lexington, KY, with his wife Tammy and their cat Cinder. He teaches English at Bluegrass Community and Technical College. Chris has a bachelor's degree from Centre College and a master's from the University of Kentucky. He did his master's thesis on Batman comics. While in grad school, he published a book review in the electronic scholarly journal Postmodern Culture and contributed to The St. James Encyclopedia of Pop Culture. Although he did not know it at the time, he prepared for his role in A Midsummer Night's Dream by marrying Tammy at the Ohio Renaissance Festival in 1998. Chris volunteers twice a week for Central Kentucky Radio Eye, a service which broadcasts readings of newspapers, magazines, and books to the blind and disabled. (It's a worthy causesend money.) Chris'obsessive fans can hear him on CKRE's webcast on Mondays and Fridays 8-10am Eastern.
