The greatest riddle of all...Who is Jerry Scullion!??
I'm Jerry Scullion, and I live in a town called Chalfont, in Bucks County, PA., not too far from Philadelphia. I am a Designer, Macintosh user, Illustrator, would-be comic artist and lifelong Batman Fan, (if the photo itself was not enough of a hint). How many people have a 6 foot batman in their basement!
Anyway, I'm
married, to a wonderful wife (I really only married her for her name -"Mary
Jane", like Spiderman's wife - - I needed my comic book fix
somehow - but don't tell her..sshh! ssh!! here she comes!)
Anyway... we have 2 kids and 2 dogs, and she puts up with me and my "creativity" as it were, so it's all good. I work in the fine state of New Jersey, and haul myself there from PA every day, to work in the creative department of a marketing company. So, I spend my day in front of several G5 MACS, dealing with design problems, client problems, scheduling problems and if i can sqeak it in..a little creativity.
Anyway, most nights, you'll usually find me home, deep in the recesses of my basement, yet again hunkered over my MAC, working away on some design project or something unusual.
Boy, when
I say it like that, my life sounds pretty damn good. :)
I stumbled upon the "Superman: Last son of Krypton" podcast,
as I was hunting out Podiobooks to listen to on my aforementioned commute
to and from work. I really liked Pendant Audio's presentations, and I
thought they were top notch - as good as any others I have heard, and
quite a bit better than most.
I have always wanted to try my hand at true voice work, and while I am by no means a professional "ACT-or", I enjoy, and have done my share of voiceovers, video and even some stage performing in various stages of my life/career. So, when I saw the Indy casting call, I wanted to get in on the action, and try out for a part.
All that being said, I hope to do justice to Indiana Jones, one of my all time, absolute favorite movies/series. Thanks for the opportunity, Jeffrey - Thanks, Pendant.
