Josh's love for audio drama and comedy came at an early age when his parents got for him to listen to on a long car ride to North Carolina a cassette of Abbott and Costello and Fibber McGee and Molly old time radio shows. Since then, Josh's collection has expanded to such great programs as The War of The Worlds Mercury Theater Broadcast (The Jewel of his collection) and Several Collections of "Superman", "The Shadow" and "The Green Hornet" to lesser known radio programs like Norman Corwin-written shows and "Kay Kyser's Kollege of Musical Knowledge". Josh's acting career has not been on the lookout for Hollywood successes, but his talent came from over 15 years of acting in community theater and high school shows. It was cited that Josh did at least two shows a year (either on stage or behind the scenes) for his local Community Theater group (The Indiana Players) for nine consecutive years. Josh also pulled some impressive doubles and triples when you add in high school productions. After a five year education at Point Park University, he received his Bachelors degree in Broadcast Journalism. He still works in community theater, taking part in shows with The Punxsutawney Theater Arts Guild. Josh is currently a higher-up at Renda Radio Punxsutawney, where he does news, commercial writing and voicing, and is occasionally called upon to do an accent or two. Josh's first appearance in a Pendant Audio Production will be in Batman: Ace of Detectives #56, but he is involved with the BrokenSea Audio productions (no productions yet), and with The Spirit Blade Underground. Josh's voice will be featured in Spirit Blade's upcoming release "The DSI Files: Unlucky Seven" Josh is the voice of The Great White Shark in "Batman: The Ace of Detecives". |
