Kim Gianopoulos

During the day, she is a mild-mannered government employee in Washington, DC. At night and on weekends, she is...well, pretty much anyone else, from a Romulan to a Shakespearean leading lady to the medical chief of a superhero's support team. Oh, yeah, and she's really good at ferrying her children to their countless extracurricular activities. How much longer until the older one can drive? Too long, methinks...

Kim has always enjoyed performing for others. As a child, she was pretty serious about dance, and spent her time learning pointe, jazz, tap, modern, and African dance. When she realized that she needed relatively secure employment well past her 20s, the dance obsession got downgraded to a hobby. She continued to perform on and off for many years until her ability to rebound from minor injury was deemed "pathetic," and she finally hung up her dance shoes.

Given job demands, child demands, and husband requests (see what happened there?), Kim didn't perform for a number of years. Feeling that something was missing from her life, she looked around for opportunities. After following a little show on the Syfy channel called "Who Wants to be a Superhero" and helping to establish a related fan group, she got the opportunity to write for and voice act in an audio drama related to the show. Mike Winters, one of her compatriots in this group, led her to Pendant, and the rest is...well, probably not history, but worth mentioning, at least. She's always looking forward to the next acting or writing opportunity, and hopes that those opportunities keep coming.

Her first Seminar script will be produced in the summer of 2010.
