Paul Lavelle

Paul Lavelle is a West Virginia native currently residing in Fountain, Colorado. He is, by day, an Information Technology Manager in municipal government. In effect, he is a professional geek.

Paul's trek to geekdom began at an early age, spending many hours either tearing the phones in the house apart to see what made them tick or hanging around the broadcast radio station his father worked at, constantly asking questions of the DJs and engineering staff as to what each piece of equipment did. This early interest drove Paul to pursue an education in technology, culminating in a B.S. degree in Computer Science at Colorado Technical University in Colorado Springs.

A longtime fan of Star Trek, Paul first discovered Pendant in 2007 while searching the Internet for Trek-related fan fiction. After listening to all the episodes of Defiant, he quickly dove into the rest of the Pendant catalog. In other words, he was hooked.

Upon discovering his latest obsession, Paul's wife quickly encouraged him to audition for a role in a Pendant production. Having previously done voiceover work for the telephone systems of his various employers over the years, Paul quickly stepped up to the challenge, joining Pendant in April of 2008.

In addition to Paul's work at Pendant, he is also participating in projects for BrokenSea Audio Productions, Misfits Audio, and Giant Gnome Productions. Paul can be reached either via Facebook or at his LiveJournal site, Mission: Improbable - A Geek's Adventure in Voice Acting.

Paul is the voice of Jazan in "Star Wars: Blue Harvest", and Officer Brannis in "The Kingery".
