R. Francis Smith started at Pendant with the requisite failed auditions followed by a trip to the director class, followed shortly by a trip to the director mines from which he has never returned. Taking over the directing duties on Wonder Woman was followed by an acting gig on the same show, an associate producer position, and most recently a writing job or two. He apparently doesn't understand the point of free time. Aside from being in front of the computer doing audio production, he spends his daylight hours in front of the computer at his job as a university systems administrator, plus there's the time in front of the computer playing MMOs and watching TV (yes, still in front of the computer) with his wife, Jennifer. Oh, also, there's catching up on email and news feeds, and just plain web surfing. However, he can actually do things that don't involve a computer, including being a husband, a father of two girls, and a member of and live musician in the Society for Creative Anachronism. Plus, there's always the Wii. Guitar Hero and Rock Band won't just play themselves, you know. He occasionally worries that he's the only actor at Pendant with neither background nor professional aspirations in dramatic performance, his sole experience having been taking one semester of drama in high school before dropping the class in favor of economics. Seriously. But he's having fun anyway. He haunts various social sites under such usernames as rfrancis or rfrancissmith, except when it's something else entirely. Listen to R. Francis' interview in This Week In Pendant!
