So! It's time for another casting call for Green Arrow: Shooting Star.
This time we're casting two recurring roles, one male and one female.
I will also be using these auditions as fodder for casting smaller bit
parts, like "guy who gets punched out" or "girl who makes a threat".
You know. So even if you're not at all sure you want to do a regular
part, please DO still audition, as it's the best way to get onto the
show!

Now first the parts and audition lines, and at the end there will be
more specific audition instructions:

AGENT TRESSER (male)

Smooth and charismatic agent of the DEO's Department for Metahuman
Affairs, Tresser used to be a lone wolf type but these days he works
for the DMA and wears a suit... most of the time. At the risk of
mentioning a Marvel property, think Agent Coulson of SHIELD from
various recent movies. Calm, confident, experienced, but not a Joe
Friday stiff. Not oily or fake, either,
just very together. An expert at disguises and espionage.

Audition lines:
1. Agent Tresser, DEO. I need a few minutes of your time.
2. (a little tired) Listen, Mr. York, we're not the police. I know
you're connected with Green Arrow.
3. (with a straight face) This is a completely extralegal vigilante
action. I want you to know that I'm okay with that.

MIA DEARDEN (female)

If her name rings a bell... don't assume you know anything about her.
This is Earth P, after all. And believe me, we haven't even seen the
Smallville version... anyway. Mia is a teenager. She is, as they
say, from Circumstances. It has not made her moody or dark or grim or
any of that; she is upbeat and enthusiastic... sometimes too
enthusiastic. At the same time, she's streetwise and can be cynical
about human nature. She just doesn't let it get to her. To some
degree she is not entirely rooted in reality to achieve this, and this
makes her impulsiveness occasionally border on dangerous. Obviously,
she is a sharp contrast to Ollie in many ways.

Audition lines:
1. Coming through! (fight walla as she punches a mook) Woo hoo!
2. (gently) Listen... you're not the only ones who've been in this
deep. I've been... (sighs) I can get you some help, all right?
3. (angry) What?! You... I didn't ask you for permission to be me!

AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS

- Do 3-5 takes of each line. No more, no less.
- Record all takes of each line and save/export as ONE mp3 file. You
can edit out the takes you really don't like (as long as I still get
at least 3), but please NO other editing, including cleaning! I need
to see the raw material I'll be dealing with.
- Name the mp3 file as CHARACTER_YOURNAME.mp3. So, Tresser_JoeBob.mp3
or whatever.
- Email audition to me, jds@randomgang.com, with an obvious subject line.
