Photos from the fifth Pendant picnic!

On May 22, 2011, Pendant Productions held the fifth annual Pendant Picnic at McCambridge Park in Burbank, California!

Friday night was the "Pirates of the Carribbean: On Stranger Tides" premiere at the El Capitan in Hollywood (and ice cream at the Disney Soda Fountain right next door). Saturday morning we were up early for a day at Disneyland, which was equal parts awesome and exhausting.

Sunday was the actual picnic at the park, followed by the annual trip to In-N-Out!

See the photos below!

Click the thumbnails for larger photos (of varying largeosity).

Adam, Anna and Susan didn't think I could take a photo while the subway was moving. You can just tell from their expressions.

It's the El Cap,
lit up all purty-like!

Iced creams? Yes plz.
What's Panda taking a photo of? (ps - don't look at the screen on Anna's camera or you might slip into infinity)

Oh. Nothing important!

Everybody wave to Kat and Kristen. Hiiiiiii Kat and Kristen!

She has to sit next to me since we're married. You can tell I'm happier about this than she is.

I didn't want to see the movie in 3D, but we had no choice. Still, if you gotta wear 3D glasses, '80s-tacular ones like these are the way to go.

It's the Pirates 4 movie crew!

Apparently strange things are afoot deep underneath Hollywood.

We got up waaay too early to get to Disneyland on time. Sleepy Jeffrey is sleepy. But hey, nice mug doofus.

The Pages! Once again Jared proves he loves freezing his ass off by not dressing appropriately. WELL DONE, SIR.

It be a castle.

This ride Dale and Panda-approved.

Did you know three pages can fit inside one elephant? That's your fun fact of the day. It's science, kids.

Doooooofus.

I may be a doofus, but at least I got this Dumbo-top shot of Pendulums!

Airborne Pendulums!
Kind of.

A toad and a Panda walk into a bar...

Lines are boring, let's all watch Mark eat while we wait!

Mark, Kat and Kristen
are on a boat. Creepy old guy disapproves.

Look away, now back to the site. Mark has become Anna. And here's two tickets to that Pendant show you like.

AnnDa!

SusAnna?

This picture is too good, let's ugly it up some with that guy in the middle!

I am... askew!
Also apparently widescreened?
Who took this? What the heck happened? You've somehow managed to capture my bizarre, cranky persona all at once. Impressive.

We got on a sneak preview, beeeyotches! And it rocked our collective faces off.

Dawwwwww.

Mark and Kat like bumper cars. That lady in green perhaps not so much.

Aren't they exciting? No, not really. They were kiddie bumper cars and went about 3mph.

I'd complain about how stupid I look in this one, but, well... seems about right.

Max and Clark became good buddies this year. Nothing else to say about that, they're adorable amirite?

You can't tell those are Jared's boys, can you? I mean, they look nothing alike...

Paradise Pier before World of Color...

And right after! It'll blow your mind, man.

Well, at least one of them seems excited.

The best Pendant Picnic group shot ever. Hooray!

The first ever in-person meeting of Laura and Kat! They hugged.

And later hugged again.

And Chris wants some chiiiiiiiiips....

Chris, Laura, Mark, Kat and Kristen. Genesis Avalon represent!

Selina, Kara, Cassie, Diana and Dinah, your ladies of Earth-P! Sadly Susan had to take Clark home before this was taken, thus the distinct lack of Lois.

Chris and Hunter seem to disapprove of my straw-chewing ways. As they should.

Yep.

Laura is surprised by Anna's transparent commestibles. Wouldn't you be?

Team Twilight! Though they kept calling themselves Team Driftwood. Either way.

Wait wait, who's in the back there?

It's Dan and a pimped out Blinkie!

And a smiling Joe! Why, it's almost like people are having fun and WANT to be here!

A plane also flew overhead
with this banner behind it.
Not really much else to say about it, is there?
At least now you know where to go, hey?
