ABOUT
"VINDICATUM":
"Vindicatum"
is an eight-episode crossover story incorporating "Superman:
The Last Son of Krypton," "Batman: The Ace of Detectives",
"Wonder Woman: Champion of Themyscira" and "Supergirl:
Lost Daughter of Krypton".
In
the fall of 2006, the plans for Vindicatum becan to form. Imperium
was already written and well into production, and the three (soon
to be four) shows sharing the Earth-P continuity had their courses
laid out before them for the next year.
But
there were still questions that Imperium raised that needed answering,
and all four shows were going to lead to a convergence point once
again, as they did with Imperium.
And
so the story hashed out, the seeds planted... and yes, before Vindicatum
was even written the plans for the eventual third crossover began
to form. Forward thinking! It's the only way to run a universe with
a tight continuity that is this big.
And
so here you have Vindicatum, which is very much "Imperium 2",
if you will. Enjoy the ride, because plenty of the characters certainly
won't.
In
order to pull this project off, our actors had to work quadruple-duty
for two months, which is a herculean amount of work. Thank you all,
and thank you to my fellow writers for making this an amazing project
to work on and for not killing me when I harped at you about sticking
to the outline.
